The Plot Box

While this is a sandbox and that means the rules are a lot looser, a lot of us came into the originating game for this sandbox with a whole lot of hype and hopes about beautiful plots that spooled out over the time after it opened. I would still love to give people the opportunities to do these things and have these things happen to their characters.
We would love to hear your suggestions and see applications for future plots, both big ones that might span months or a year, or small ones that might just be hijinks and events that happen during a month or even one given day. Your thoughts on background big ideas for why and how this might have all happened, by whom, how and why, that we might thread into the whole of this pick-up-sticks and run with the best of them operations.
Given we are looser, this, also, means that plots do not all have to be run by the moderators. We will want to green light plots first that might affect the game or the wide populace of characters, but after that, you are free to organize and run things as they were approved.
Plot involvement is never required, all comments are screened, and the mods hold the rights to step in if something in a plot gets too far out of control and jeopardizes the IC or OOC stability of the game.

General Game Rules
Jan. 13th, 2018 03:09 pmtimefragmentmod1. First and foremost - don't be a dick. That's all. Simple, right? The expectation is that we are all adults and will conduct ourselves accordingly. That means we follow the basic rules of RP. The first rule? Don't be a dick.
2. IC v/s OOC - What happens IC stays there. No crossing the streams. Period. Anything outside of this will be considered godmodding and that is always a no-no.
3. Improv! The game is a sandbox which means aside from a very loosely established construct, you are given freedom to run your own plots, come up with your own threats to deal with, where your character lives and so on. This is not a full-on formal game and time is in a constant state of flux. Threats can can run the gamut of dinosaurs, gangsters and robot Nazis with laser guns. Go crazy.
4. Player run plots are encouraged. Use the Discord server to discuss, the OOC page or both.
5. Characters - No caps. That's right. You heard me. No applications either. BUT before you go throwing everyone and anyone in game - a monthly check in will be required. It's only fair to other players to know who is still active and who might be on hiatus. We get that real life happens, work happens and sometimes muses just go quiet on you so no worries. Just poke your head in and let everyone know what's going on from time to time.

Remember it's just a sandbox. Sit back and relax. This is not a formal game. You are allowed to make up where your character lives, how they eat and handle day to day life. We only request that you do it within the premise of the game and within reason. Stating that your character has suddenly taken over a full city block, has been made god by the Mongols or other NPC tribes, bringing in nukes or other game-shaking things will be addressed by a mod so it can be appropriately toned down.
